Skin lesions are abnormal growths or areas of skin that look different from the surrounding skin. They can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) and may include moles, warts, cysts, and other types of growths. Skin lesions can cause discomfort, affect appearance, and sometimes require medical treatment.
How Can Cryotherapy Help?
Many superficial skin lesions can be treated with cryotherapy (freezing of the lesion).During this consultation, evaluation of the lesion will take place in order to establish the suitability for this treatment. If the lesion(s) are not suitable for cryotherapy, you will be informed of other suitable options and possibly given a referral to a dermatologist.
